Hajime and Miyuki are invited to a wedding involving a pre-arranged marriage of their schoolmate, Wakaba Tokita. The village the mariage is to take place in is named after the six mansions positioned at the corners of the village, forming the Star of David. Each of the six houses is hiding a mummy, and each mummy is missing a body part. Owners of these houses are mysteriously killed one-by-one by the seventh Mummy.The murders, Hajime discovers, are related to an incident 27 yearsago where villagers burned a church, killing the priest and his seven daughters. Hajime uncovers that, indeed, SIX bodies were chopped up and rearranged to look like seven bodies (of the seven daughters), and one of the seven survived the fire. The murderer is the survivors son who is attempting to avenge his mother.
